Every time we go to Harmon's, Harrison's eye is on the free balloons at the check stand. I haven't really wanted him to have one, but one of the nice managers decided it was time. It was decided that Harrison's favorite color is yellow, so that's the color of balloon he got.
Harrison LOVES this balloon! He played with it the rest of the evening after he got it. It was hard to take it away for bedtime, but I attached it to the door handle, and that seemed to suffice. This morning, when I went to rescue him, Harrison was talking to his balloon, now on the ground. He kept squirming, so I gave it to him in order to change his diaper. When it was time to eat his cereal, I put the balloon right next to him, but out of reach. He freaked. There was no consoling those big tears and wails. So, Harrison ate his cereal with his balloon. But, don't worry, he still has priorities. When it was time for the milk, the balloon went to the side. Know the funny thing? When he went to the babysitter's, she had a big purple balloon. You bet that was his friend today!
