His name is Flash and is the sweetest! He is Great Dane-Border Collie. Elisha had been searching, and once we got serious, that was it. We checked out various shelters. We even almost got a small dog, but the shelter wasn't sure how that dog would do with kids. Because Animals Matter (BAM) had this cute dog, so we decided to drive out to his foster family in Dameron Valley to check him out. We took Flash on a walk, talked with the family (Mike and JennyDawn), and decided to take Flash home for a sleep over test drive.
Elisha has never had a dog because she's allergic to animal fur. Thus the sleepover a great idea! Flash was so gentle with the boys. When they cried, he licked their tears. When they ran, he trotted with them. He wanted to be with everyone and was so loving. Needless to say, Flash never went back to his Foster family. He is a Jones now, and we love him!
