HiLaRiOuS

It's true: Kendall adores Harrison. When Harrison laughs, it makes Kendall laugh harder. We've been trying to document how much Kendall laughs with Harrison. Well, enjoy! We were laughing so hard, we had tears!

Kendall's 4 Months!

Kendall had his 4 month check up on Monday, August 8 (Jason's birthday). He's growing too fast and so incredibly sweet. Here are the stats:

Weight: 15.3 lbs (in the 41%)

Length: 26" (in the 81%)

Head circumference: in the 92%

Just a day or so before we found that Kendall had cut his first tooth! Yesterday, Jason found another! Now he has his 2 bottom teeth. It's so cute, but we weren't ready for this stage, yet. We even felt shocked when the doctor said Kendall could start with cereal now. Whoa!

Chopped

So, Elisha decided to chop her hair. No, she's not pregnant. Just wanted a change and to not look like her high school students. Which is funny, because the hair dresser asked if she was excited to go back to high school, thinking Elisha was a student. It's fun to do something different, but the long will be back soon, especially since staying consistent is not on the priority list.

Big Bear McCullough Trip

Every year the McCullough family (Elisha's side) go 'camping.' Notice the " 's? That's because our roughing it includes making meals for each other and staying in the mountains, but in a rain-proof building. This year we all made the trip to Big Bear, California. (That's 2 parents, 3 kids with spouses, 5 grand babies under age 2, and a cute 17-year old little brother). If you haven't been to Big Bear - go! It's nice and cool, with a simple, laid-back feel. Just know there are switchback roads to get there.

Because of all the baby's naps, we didn't leave the cabin too much, but that was just fine. We all just hung out and caught up. Funny how some things are better conversed about in person than over the phone.

The first day, Friday, we went to the zoo. It was a sad place for animals. Hopefully the new one is roomier for the animals. The bears, we decided, were digging a hole to get under the fence and escape. Smart bears!

Thank goodness for the double stroller in the zoo!

Saturday we roamed the shops, which has become somewhat of a tradition, even though we don't have big bucks to spend. Ice cream and souvenir t-shirts are the extent of our purchases, but it's fun.

Harrison got his first candy necklace at one of the shops. Yep, he liked it! (see it on his face and neck?)

Each family was supposed to bring a game. This was FaNtAsTiC! Shea brought Quelf. Have you played it? If not, you're missing out. But, like Shea said, you have to be willing to get out of your comfort zone and want to have fun. It was long with all 9 of us playing, but we had a blast! Elisha did not want anyone to roll a 4, otherwise she'd have to moan like a weeping tree and hum a sad song, but it was fun.

Of course, we played Werewolves of Miller Crossing. Haven't played? Call us! Jason loves to narrate and is open for business.

Zjani brought her Wii and we had a Dance Off! The evidence is incriminating - hil-ar-i-ous! (Sorry for the point of view. I was sitting in the back). Boy I wish I had my Wii back now! It was a fun and fulfilling workout, too!

Here's what trouble the kiddies got into:

Of course, with 4 little boys boys, play time was fun. Kendall and Emma are too little to interact, but here's Harrison, Tucker, and Alex having a great time.

Harrison wanted to play with Bear in Alex's toy. Good times!

Emma let Kendall try on her bow. Isn't he adorable?

Eating Jason's birthday cake:)

Kendall and Emma loved talking to each other. Emma's a bit bossy and made Kendall cry, but I think they'll play nice when they get bigger.

Harrison had a little matchbox car he kept throwing up in the air. Shea got to playing, throwing the car up to the sky, but it would go up so high, it took awhile for it to come back down. HA! Harrison loved this game. Seriously, more than 30-45 minutes playing this!

Thanks to Mom and Dad for making this trip possible and ALWAYS making sure we stay tight.
We sure look forward to this every year and can't wait for next year!
