January 2012

Here is a collection of our happenings:

Elisha's dad is a New Year's baby! We have all been reminiscing Grandma McCullough's pizzelles. Elisha flipped when she saw a maker at Bed, Bath, Beyond. Happy birthday, Dad!

We had a BLAST having Jeremy and Brandon come over to celebrate New Year's. Dancing on the Wii was a must!

I forgot to take a pic of Harrison and Kendall in their Santa diapers. Too cute to pass up!

A sleeping baby is always the most precious sight. Sweet Kendall:

Kendall received this suit for Christmas - TOO cute!

Daddy-son coloring time

Watching Harrison and Kendall play is always fun!

Kendall getting the hang of crawling! He's gotta keep up with Harrison!

Mommy doesn't like it, but Harrison loves joining Kendall in his crib for jumping time.

Harrison had gone to see Namaw at work where he saw tractors working. He was all excited to tell his story until, of course, the camera came out. We love his stories.

Christmas 2011

Since Christmas was on Sunday this year, we went to church and enjoyed a wonderful program by the Kaysville 12th ward choir. Elisha's dad is part of the choir, so that made it fun to watch, too. The great thing was the program was not the same old predictable songs. That really made the day feel that more special.

After 2 consecutive days of gifts, Harrison seemed overwhelmed, yet didn't care all that much. He was excited to get new things, so that was fun. This year we decided to put forth an effort on the Santa Claus gifts. The dear old man gave the boys one gift each. He decided that would work for him, too.

Harrison checking out the loot. His is on the left, Kendall's on the right.

Harrison LOVES candy canes! He eats them all year long.

Fun Sesame Street house for Harrison

Books were on top of the list!

Harrison's helping Kendall open his present. What a nice brother!

What did Santa bring?
Kendall enjoying his teething ball from Santa (he has 4 teeth!) We're also playing, trying to get Jason's Santa hat on Kendall's head.

Uncle Christian showing Kendall a baby picture of himself (Kendall).

Kendall is wanting to keep up with Harrison, so he has decided to scoot faster and pull himself up on furniture where Harrison likes to play. He'll be running in no time!

Harrison wanted to take some pictures, so following are just a few. They're kind of fun and really show Harrison's point of view as a 2 1/2 year old.

Of course we had a delicious meal by Grandma McCullough. It was great to just hang out and play and relax. Can't beat that!

Christmas Eve 2011

Christmas Eve was spent at Elisha's family's, the McCulloughs. We left St. George around 9:30, made only one stop, and arrived in time for the 3:30pm festivities (an hour to spare). Dad read the Christmas story, always special, then opened a few gifts. We've never been 'allowed' to open gifts before Christmas, so this felt like a pretty big deal - and so fun!

Every year the McCullough family tradition is to see the lights at Temple Square - blizzard or not. This year was really nice and clear, but cold. Poor Harrison was frozen by the end of the walk and Kendall did not enjoy being bundled so tight.

Is this not cute?! Harrison with Grandma and Papa

After a brisk walk at Temple Square, we went to have pie and hot chocolate at Elisha's sister, Zjani's, house. Her boy, Tucker, and Harrison are fairly close in age, and had so much fun playing together all night. Zjani's girl, Emma, and Kendall are just a couple months apart, so it's always fun to see what they do to each other.

Christmas Adam 2011

What's Christmas Adam? Well, that's the day before Christmas Eve; Adam came before Eve!
We spent the evening with the Kendall family (Namaw, Jeremy, & Brandon) as well as Elisha's Nana and Gramps.

Of course, the spread (below) A great excuse to the nice china.

Having fun with Namaw
Kendall got a walker! It has Cars (Lightening McQueen & Mater) to entertain Harrison too.

Of course, first you must put it together!

Harrison racing Kendall around. They're still having a blast.

Harrison LOVES his Lightening McQueen car. In fact, he slept with it that night.

Thanks (HA!) to Jeremy for the noisiest monster trucks!

The boys received the most wonderful trains, handmade by Jeremy. Harrison's is blue with green accents, and Kendall's green with blue accents. They're so especially nice that Elisha deemed them immediately not okay to play with, even they're durable enough.

Christmas jammies!

Presents with Kendall

Brandon wanted us to have a picture of him. The perfect one, don't you think?
