Eating Cereal

So, I thought Harrison would enjoy trying to eat real cereal. I wasn't too sure about his ability to eat it, so decided Rice Crispies would be a good start. HA! He just pounded them off the tray onto the floor. Oh, well. He didn't seem to care so about the ones that I put into his mouth, either.

The floor, after.

Stop!

So, I was walking through the local middle school, and watching these dorky boys. I thought to myself, "Please don't let my boy be one of them." He's already growing too fast! Above is a picture of Harrison in the hospital, just a day old. Below is the most recent picture, 8 months old. Wow. At least we still love having him here!

Cutie

Harrison's figured out that shaking his head creates quite a response. He likes this, and uses it to his advantage. Just one of those cute things we have to look forward to in the future when he can learn words and tell us what he should do.

So Big!

Harrison now sits in his high chair!
Okay, a booster seat helps, but it's great!

Oh, and as of January 3, 2010, Harrison has 5 teeth!
2 tops, 3 bottoms

Christmas 2009

What a great first Christmas! Harrison had lots of fun, and we had fun watching him.

Since Jason had to work Christmas Eve, we left for Northern Utah to the fams Christmas morning, 6-wonderful-am. Really it wasn't so bad, especially with Harrison asleep until Fillmore. We arrived at the McCullough's (E's fam) around 11ish - just in time to open presents! It was great to see everyone and just hang out and play games. Thanks for the fun toys, monetary donation, Levi's DVD, movies, clothes, and thoughfulness. Oh, don't forget that wonderful, nummy food!

Sleepy time with Grandpa.

The Kendall's (J's fam) had a big family dinner Christmas night at "the house." Sadly, it's the last Christmas at the family home, where it's been held for 35+ years. Jason's mom is moving down here, closer to us/Harrison, making it unreasonable for Jason's brother to stay. (anyone want a 5 bedroom house in Murray, close to the mall?)

The dinner was great, thanks Jeremy for all your hard work! The company was funny, thanks all you crazy people! We enjoyed eating and chatting, our best talents. Thanks for the pj's, nuts, candy, and

Awww. Kisses with Namaw.

Jeremy and Brandon started a super fun, new tradition: Christmas pj's. Jason didn't know that he was getting pj's from a few people this year, and slipped by saying he doesn't like it when he gets those as gifts. We really do like them, guys!

Jason's mom with her quilt.
Elisha's mom took all the fabric from Jason's 'fat' clothes and made a topper.
Then, we took it and made a quilt. Just in time to move to St. George!

Jason wrote a memoir and narrative story about the first, and hopefully last, carjacking experience he and his brother, Jeremy, had when they were kids.

Brandon's SO excited Jeremy gave him a Wii.
It was the biggest surprise, especially with Jeremy's awesome acting abilities, pretending he didn't know a Wii game couln't play on a Game Cube!

Harrison was especially funny with wrappings. He has been, for awhile, a fanatic about paper. He loves to grab at the papers on the desk and eat whatever wrappings are on the floor. Solution: cellophane! It has an even better crinkle sound, and doesn't dissolve in water/slobber!

Mommy and Harrison figuring out how to open presents.

Don't you worry, Santa did stop by and leave surprises for Harrison. Harrison didn't see them until we arrived home Monday. He loved them, of course! Santa gave him a fun pony, and Mrs. Santa gave him a dinosaur activity thing.

Harrison's already a talented pony rider! Check out that balance!

Harrison really loves the lights and music.

Santa also brought him a cute outfit, to look just like him!
