So, after my (Elisha's) parents left, I felt the itch to finish the kitchen with some paint. The original goal was to paint the very dated, brown laminate cupboards cream with red coming through. It would have looked awesome, but after painting the red, I decided that's the way it should be. Yes the point was to lighten the area, but I think it adds character. The red really pops with the yellow walls, and the cream bead board pops, too. What do you think? Should it stay red (silver hardware to finish it off)?

Please note: Even though they're not done in the picture, the bottom cupboards are painted, too.

It looks great. Keep it like this for a while, once you get sick of it, paint over it with your original ideal.
I like it, I agree with Stacey. Love you guys, Aunt Gina
Looks good :) You could do a wash or glaze over it with the cream?? Looks MUCH better than it did before though! :)
I like it, too. I also agree with your other friends.
I LOVE it!
Thanks, all! It'll stay...for now:)
