Oh yes, we ARE Hunger Games fans! We worked hard to get tickets. The local radio station (Planet 94.1) did an event where they pulled 5 four pack of tickets at noon and 1 four pack at 4pm. The first day we all went, and met Jeremy, at Pizza Hut. Naturally we had to enjoy the lunch buffet! We weren't chosen then; for either drawing. The second day worked to our favor! Jeremy won! Of course we agreed that if we won, we'd take Jeremy and Brandon, and if they won, they'd take us. Win-win.
Planet 94.1 had exciting events at the theater before the show, all relating to The Hunger Games. Fun activities like shooting arrows, relays, digging for worms, and shooting. Oh, not to mention pretty braids like Cat's. We took Harrison, and he had as much fun as we did!
We attended the midnight show, shown in a theater set aside for the radio station. While waiting, deejay LaRae did a drawing. Jeremy won a super soft, though small pillow, Jason won a book of theater money coupons, Elisha won a Hunger Games t-shirt, and Brandon won the awesome opportunity to sit with us. Win-win!
